Laurel Holloman’s First Solo Art Show – Paris, April 3-21
It’s amazing how time flies, isn’t it? Just a little over two years ago Laurel Holloman, who was a full-time actress and one of the stars of The L Word, donated a few of her paintings for a MAASAI Wilderness Fund auction that pretty much started her career as a professional painter and this April she will have her first solo Art Show in Paris.
Laurel’s first series of paintings, called “The Tribeca Series” that she painted in New York, was very successful. So successful, in fact, that one of the paintings Bullet, was recently put on a wine label.
Last year Laurel decided to put acting on hold completely and spent all this time working on commissions and more abstract paintings that now are known as the second series, “Coeur Libre”.
Laurel’s first solo art exhibition will be held in Paris, at Mairie du 5ème, 21 Place du Pantheon. It’s the town hall directly across from the Pantheon and it will be open from 11 am to 6 pm on most days. Laurel mentioned on Twitter that she will try to be there the first week but would have to return to Los Angeles towards the end.
