Last weekend I have attended another Annual POWER UP Premiere Gala that was honoring gay women and men in showbiz who helped to shape public opinion and social growth. This year it was POWER UP 10th Anniversary and it’s just simply amazing how much POWER UP had accomplished in this pretty short time.

I have a confession to make: I’m addicted to being an extra. It’s not because I love acting even though I’ve participated in a couple of plays and comedy shows while I was in college but because it enabled me to see how the movies are made…and be part of the movie, as well. (more…)

In November I went to POWER UP Awards Gala and talked to Angela Robinson. In her interview she mentioned that Alex Kondracke and she were going to start filming “Girltrash” the movie in December and they might need a lot of extras for a concert scene at some point.
Angela mentioned to me that the storyline in the movie has nothing to do with the webisodes but some of the characters are the same. As far as we know, the movie involves webisodes’ characters Colby and Misty, Tyler and Daisy, and Monique (played by Rose Rollins). (more…)
